With Dani & Andy by his side in the office Steve helps every customer who comes in to branch with a personal touch that really sets him apart from the crowd. Steve's success is evident every day with happy vendors and purchasers popping into the office with cakes, treat and even hugs. Going above and beyond is his forte and you'll often find him in the office gone 7pm still working away and on his phone at home gone 9pm!  If it's dedication you're looking for then look no further. He's a real superstar, never has a cross word to say about anyone, loves a cup of tea and a biscuit and knows how to get the best out of every offer. He's what I class as a 'proper estate agent' . Steve has a fantastic track record of managing and running successful Estate Agents throughout the area. Steve had a desire to be an Estate Agent from a very early age and started working on Saturdays at his local estate agents from the mere age of 14 – and was so keen to understand the industry – he offered his services free of charge! Steve continued working Saturdays and school holidays until he left school in 1998 (we don’t think he looks old enough either).

He then started his career at Halifax Property Services in Stafford, then went to open DB Roberts Stafford in 1999. Joining Butters John Bee in 2009, Steve ran several branches before taking on the responsibility of overseeing all of their sales offices and property auctions. Opening his own estate agency has always been his goal, and when the opportunity to start a new business with Jeremy was available, they both jumped at the chance. With them spending so much time of their working career in Stafford, it was the most logical choice of locations. There are very few people in the industry who have a comparable breadth of experience in residential sales and valuations.

Steve prides himself on his ability to deliver an outstanding bespoke approach with a proven strategy for success. In his spare time, Steve loves nothing more than keeping busy with DIY projects (he virtually rebuilt his own house recently) although he tells us he’s no intention of competing with George Clarke, ‘the Restoration Man’ – yeah – whatever!

For those who don't know what a 'piggy back' viewing is, it was the cornerstone of estate agency in the good old days when agents knew their stock inside out and 1 viewing request for a house would result in 3 other viewings on 3 other properties being added on i.e piggybacked! It's a great way to give your properties exposure and to really get to know what your applicants want. It's also something us old guys know but can often be overlooked by the new kids on the block its also something online agents can't really offer. It is what makes us different and shows that in the battle of youth vs experience, we win every time.
